Sen. Leno Responds to Changes Within High-Speed Rail Authority

 SACRAMENTO – Senator Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) released the following statement today regarding the California High-Speed Rail Authority.

“I want to thank Roelof van Ark and Tom Umberg for their dedication and service that helped bring California’s high-speed rail to this point. I am also pleased to welcome Dan Richard as the new chairman of the rail authority. His experience working with mass transit in the San Francisco Bay Area will help advance this important project. With the full support of the Governor, I know he can help make high-speed rail a reality in California.”
