Being a senior can mean different things to different people - retirement, world travel, spending time with grandchildren or pursuing other lifelong interests.
But it also can bring challenges. Navigating the healthcare system can be tricky. Finding all the benefits available to you can be difficult. And, unfortunately, there are scammers out there who target and take advantage of seniors.
That's why I'm hosting a series of public forums around the district to talk about subjects that are important to seniors - and offer my help. My next event, which will feature a panel of experts, is Jan. 26 in Martinez. I hope to see you there!
