Sen. Dodd Wins Re-Election Bid

Tuesday, November 3, 2020

NAPA – Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, issued the following statement tonight upon his re-election to represent North Bay residents in Senate District 3:

“I’m honored to receive your overwhelming support and consider it a great privilege to continue working on your behalf in the state Legislature,” Sen. Dodd said. “We’ve made considerable progress over the past four years but more still needs to be done, especially in the areas of wildfire safety, solving the housing crisis, ending homelessness and improving public education. There’s also unfinished business on police reform. As always, I look forward to serving you.”

Sen. Dodd was first elected to the Senate in 2016 after serving two years in the Assembly. He has been one of California’s most prolific lawmakers, getting 73 of his bills signed into law in the past six years. He was previously a Napa County supervisor for 14 years and a small business owner.
