Sen. Dodd: Virtual Town Hall on Data Privacy

SONOMA – Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, will host a virtual town hall Dec. 8 with guests Alastair Mactaggart, founder of Californians for Consumer Privacy and sponsor of Proposition 24, the recently passed ballot measure expanding consumer rights, and Aza Raskin, an ex-Silicon Valley designer who was featured in the Netflix documentary, The Social Dilemma, on the future of data privacy in our state.

Sen. Dodd, a co-author of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, and Mr. Mactaggart will discuss online threats, identity theft and how we can take back control of our personal data. The town hall will be broadcast live on KSVY/Sonoma TV and streamed across multiple channels. Panelists will answer submitted questions and take live calls from listeners.
