Tuesday, March 9, 2021

SACRAMENTO – Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, issued the following statement today in response to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s State of the State address, which focused on coronavirus pandemic recovery efforts and other pressing issues:

“California has endured much hardship over the past year as we faced the greatest public health crisis in a century,” Sen. Dodd said. “I appreciate the governor’s leadership during these hard times as well as the way in which he works towards solutions and accepts responsibility for fixing problems. We’re not out of the woods yet on the pandemic but we are making progress. At the same time, I’m heartened by his commitment to economic development and wildfire safety, two of my legislative priorities.”
