Sen. Dodd Statement on Appointment of Mary Sandy

WOODLAND - Senator Bill Dodd, D-Napa, released the following statement regarding Governor Gavin Newsom's appointment of Mary Sandy to the Yolo County Board of Supervisors, representing District 3.

"Mary Sandy is an accomplished, dedicated public servant, and I applaud Governor Newsom for a great selection in appointing her to the Yolo Board of Supervisors," said Senator Bill Dodd. "Gary Sandy left big shoes to fill, and I know Mary will be a tremendous county supervisor. She knows the community and has been so involved at so many different ways. I was a county supervisor for 14 years, and I couldn't think of anyone with a better set of skills and experience to hit the ground running representing District 3."
