SONOMA – With the goal of reducing plastic waste, Jana Wang, co-owner of Refill Madness Sonoma, opened her shop during the pandemic, giving customers a safe place to fill their own containers with household goods such as soaps and lotions. For her effort to keep tons of plastic from local landfills, her store has been named Sonoma County Small Business of the Year for 2021 by Sen. Bill Dodd.

SACRAMENTO – Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, today lauded the Legislature’s passage of its omnibus health bill, which invests in major new initiatives including his proposal to ensure low-income people with disabilities have access to rehabilitative services and equipment such as specially fitted wheelchairs.

WOODLAND – Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, announced today he has secured a $1.5 million budget allocation for Yolo County to be used for investments in wildfire safety and prevention as well as an additional $350,000 for a new fire engine in Clarksburg.
