Sen. Cabaldon honors community leader Eva Garcia for AAPI Heritage Month

#AAPI members of the California Legislature, including myself, were honored today to present our district honorees for #AAPIHeritageMonth. Our 2025 District 3 honoree is Eva Garcia, who in 2022 was elected as the First Filipina President of the Solano Association of Realtors. She currently serves as president of the Women's Council of Realtors Solano County chapter and as a statewide ambassador for the organization. 

She is also a volunteer for the American Canyon Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) and is a board member of Solano Rebuilding Together, which renovates homes for veterans and the elderly. She was instrumental in organizing PPE donations in partnership with the Napa City Council at the height of the pandemic and has continued weekly food deliveries to local veterans and seniors. 

Eva’s dedication to diversity is reflected in her work as a Queen of the Valley Diversity Director (2016–2023). She is also a certified Master Gardener, bringing her love for sustainability and nature into the community. Eva has been married for 20 years to Leon Garcia, former Mayor of American Canyon. Together, they are devoted to public service and share a beautiful family.
