Sen Dodd: AG Review of Vallejo Police Shooting is Crucial

SACRAMENTO – Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, issued the following statement today in response to an announcement from California Attorney General Rob Bonta that the Department of Justice would conduct a review of last year's fatal police shooting of Sean Monterrosa in Vallejo:

“I’ve been calling for an independent investigation of this tragic case since the beginning, and I am glad Attorney General Bonta has taken this necessary step,” said Sen. Dodd. “It’s crucial that we have a thorough and impartial review of the facts and get accountability for any wrongdoing.”
