Media Advisory: Wildfire Press Conference Tomorrow

SACRAMENTO – Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, will join fellow members of the Senate Wildfire Working Group in a virtual press conference Thursday to unveil a comprehensive wildfire preparedness and prevention bill package and discuss a landmark corresponding budget package -- all part the Senate’s Blueprint for a Fire Safe California. 

Sens. Mike McGuire and Susan Rubio co-chair the Wildfire Working Group, which includes Sens. Dodd, Henry Stern, Ben Allen, Monique Limón and Nancy Skinner as its members.

The press conference will be held via Zoom on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 9:30am. Members of the media who wish to attend should RSVP with their name, email address, media outlet, and phone number to Kerrie.Lindecker@sen.ca.gov.

A Zoom link will be sent prior to the start of the press conference to those who RSVP with the above information (name/email/outlet/phone).
