SONOMA – Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, will host a virtual town hall Dec. 8 with guest Alastair Mactaggart, founder of Californians for Consumer Privacy and sponsor of Prop. 24, the recently passed ballot measure expanding consumer rights, on the future of data privacy in our state.
Sen. Dodd, a co-author of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, and Mr. Mactaggart will discuss online threats, identity theft and how we can take back control of our personal data. The town hall will be broadcast live on KSVY/Sonoma TV and streamed across multiple channels. All the panelists will answer submitted questions and take calls from listeners.
