The fight for gender pay equity

Tuesday, April 14, was National Equal Pay Day.

If you think that the day chosen to promote awareness of the staggering difference between what men and women earn had something to do with the federal income tax deadline, you would be wrong. The date represents the additional 104 days that a woman would have to work to receive comparable annual compensation to a man.
