Bill Dodd, D-Napa, today announced a resolution designating June as Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Awareness Month in recognition of a serious and growing crisis in California that was worsened by the coronavirus pandemic and continues to threaten the state’s most vulnerable, especially the homeless.

Bill Dodd, D-Napa, to advance two key issues related to Native Americans -- the return of tribal remains and other artifacts held in University of California collections and the ability of tribes to conduct cultural burns for wildfire prevention.

Nancy Skinner, D-Berkeley, that would outlaw hidden charges on purchases – also known as junk fees --  ensuring consumers are not exposed to deceptive business practices that add unfair costs.
